2018 KLAMATH RIVER FESTIVAL SEPTEMBER 1ST & 2ND

UPDATE:  There will be SUP races/relays this year, but no raft or kayak races!  We are still rafting on Sunday!  Show up Saturday 2 PM for some SUP madness.  No equipment or experience is necessary!  Come one!  Come all!!! 


The cost is $50/person and kids under 12 or free and all-you-can-drink bracelets are $20.

There's a raffle for some cool gear.  


You can register and buy raffle tickets at the event with Cash or Check

THE DETAILS

Where?  Paradise Point (near Happy Camp, CA)

When?  September 1st and 2nd

Cost?  $50 Per Person (kids under 12 are free)

What?  Rafting - BBQ - The Best People Ever!



If you've never been, it's a fun filled weekend with whitewater rafting, BBQ, camping, volleyball, and a live auction. Paradise Point lives up to its name, located on the Klamath River with plenty of camping for everyone! http://www.awwrafting.com/c...

A couple details about this year:

-SUP races/relays! No prior experience required...all skill levels welcomed!  EVERYONE is encouraged to participate. 

-The proceeds go to support the Northwest Spinal Cord Recovery Fund in honor of Matt Thomas.

-The more the merrier! Invite your friends...and their friends, all ages are welcome! 

Directions to Paradise Point:
1. From the North or South on I-5, go West on Hwy 96. (Near Yreka)
2. Go 60 miles on Hwy 96 to the town of Happy Camp. This is the last remnant of civilization before Paradise Point (Gas, Food, ect.)
3. Continue on Hwy 96 past Happy Camp for about 18 more miles to Paradise Point. There will be a small sign on the left and an open yellow gate. Follow the dirt road to the right until you reach the parking area.
4. The turn for Paradise Point is exactly 0.9 miles past 'Coon Creek' River Access. If you get to Dillon Creek Campground you have gone 3 miles to far.
5. If you want to use a google map, Paradise Point usually shows up as Cottage Grove. (Paradise Point sits on the old town of Cottage Grove)
